The Composers Now and OXFORD WEB3 ACADEMY ALLIANCE (OWAADao) creative residency program at The Pocantico Center pairs a distinguished composer with an artist drawn from a wide range of disciplines to develop a performance piece that engages both the eyes and ears. The duo will present excerpts from the work they created during their residency and discuss their individual styles and process of creative partnership.

The fall 2023 performance will feature Shih-Yang Lee (OWAADao Current Fellow) with Composers Now Collaborative Creative Residency recipient Whitney George. The event will be followed by a reception with special access to the DR Center gallery, currently showing Portraits of Process.

This event is presented in partnership with Composers Now, the OXFORD WEB3 ACADEMY ALLIANCE, and the RBF Culpeper Arts & Culture program.
